Shipping and Return Policy
At NovaTech, we are committed to providing exceptional service and high-quality products. This policy outlines our terms regarding returns, refunds, warranties, and shipping. All practices comply with the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
Shipping Policy
- Order Processing Time: 1 (one) business day for all in-stock items.
- Delivery Timeframe: 2–3 (two to three) business days after dispatch, for in-stock items within South Africa.
- Courier Services: We use reputable courier partners such as The Courier Guy, Fastway, and others.
- Backorders: Customers will be notified via email or SMS if a product is subject to delayed delivery or backorder.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you via email or SMS. You may track your order on our Order Tracking Page or by contacting support.
Returns – Change of Mind
- Returns must be initiated within 7 calendar days from the date of invoice or receipt.
- Products must be unused, in sealed original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
- All seals, labels, and manufacturer stickers must remain intact.
- Software and consumables may only be returned if unopened and unused.
- Opened but unused products are subject to a 25% restocking fee, provided all original packaging is returned.
- Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Original delivery fees are non-refundable.
Refund Procedure
Once we receive and inspect your return, you will be notified of the outcome.
- Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method:
- Credit card refunds will be returned to the original card.
- EFT refunds may require you to provide banking details.
- Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to reflect.
- After 7 days, refunds will only be issued for faulty or defective products under warranty.
Warranty – Exchanges & Replacements
- All products are covered by a minimum 6-month warranty.
- Extended manufacturer warranties will be honoured when applicable.
- Products must be used under normal conditions and as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Dead on Arrival (DOA) items must be reported within 7 calendar days of receipt.
- Submit return requests through our RMA form on the website.
- Returns must be delivered to the original fulfilment branch or depot.
Upon validation, we will proceed with:
- A product replacement (if in stock), or
- A repair service, or
- A full refund (if the item cannot be replaced or repaired)
NovaTech covers return shipping costs for approved warranty claims. These will be delivered to the original address within 7–14 business days.
Exclusions – Non-Warranty Claims
The following are not covered by our warranty and will not be accepted as defects:
- General wear and tear
- Damage from misuse, negligence, or improper handling
- Failure to follow operating instructions
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or disassembly
